In my early years I was a personal banker for The Bank of Boulder (now known as First National Bank of Colorado.) This was my first time being appointed as a Notary Public for the State of Colorado. I further explored with a foreclose/investment firm, EquityLink, as a closing coordinator.
Looking for a change and also to be closer to my family, I moved to St Petersburg, Florida in 2002. This started my move into the title industry and becoming a Notary Public for the State of Florida. I was a closing supervisor for a national title company. My job included, but not limited to, processing title orders, ordering surveys and appraisals, scheduling, working up HUDs, closings, disbursing/funding, and warehousing.
Next on my plate was a move into the lending field. I followed loan procedures from the initial application, processing, ordering title/appraisals/surveys/inspections, clearing underwriting stipulations, producing documents, ordering/approving HUDs, and providing funding numbers.
My fiance and I had a wonderful opportunity in 2005 to move to the Emerald Coast to become partners in Fid's Marine Construction and AAA Crestview Hauling. After one month, I started missing the title/lending world and decided to become a notary signing agent.
I absolutely love my responsibilities as a Notary Public and Signing Agent!
